The Heritage High School Marching Band, consisting of the "Marching Patriots", is a traditional, show-style marching band- comprising of the marching style, "Snap n' Drive", the marching style of Alabama State University's "Marching Hornets". Our marching band is not only made up of our instrumentalists, but includes the Sapphire Soldiers, our color guard, and Royal Essence, our dance team. We are a growing, striving program that believes that as long as you have the grit to learn, you are capable of joining us. Becoming a great musician doesn't just happen overnight, lots of hard work and practice is involved. Joining marching band will improve your playing ability, get you out of your comfort zone, improve your socializing and communication skills, and ability to work with others.
